CBA Vs. UWEC

I already graduated with a bachelor's degree from College of Business Administration (CBA) from Saudi Arabia, so I noticed many differences between CBA & UWEC students. CBA don't have many clubs and organizations that students could join to and students don't care about that because most of them want only to finish their program and graduate. On the other hand, UWEC students are so engaged in joining clubs and organizations to get more experience and and it's an essential part of graduation. In working efforts in class, CBA students work alone and rarely you find some work in groups if the instructor of the course ask them to. But UWEC students work in groups because the American educational system is more advanced and that we'll help the students in the future while they'll be working in their jobs in the future.

  1. Do you really think the educational system is more advance or just different? What method is easiest to learn? Maybe we can't even say there is a "more advanced" method........or maybe we can. Hmmmmmmm.........

  2. It is very interesting that both, you and Othman wrote about how students in KSA study and work on their assignments individually. It is uncommon then for you to work in a group, isn't it? How can you deal with that?
By the way, your blog is very cool with the color pink! :)

  3. Only few of the instructors are making students work in groups, especially the higher level courses. So I think that if we change the word "advanced" with "more efficient" would be better.

  4. It is true that most students in my country tend to work individually. They are afraid that when they work in groups, their marks would be affected if someone in that group does not do well. Since it is group assignment, the whole group will have the same marks.
